Suggest Me Test And Medicines For Irregular Periods?

I m 21 and my gyn says I need an exam, but I m still a virgin and honestly kind of prudish about it. I don t feel like it s necessary. I m on birth control and don t get my period because of other problems that worsen with my cycle, but she won t prescribe more until I get an exam. Should I just do it or look for another doctor or go off birth control?
