Suggest Me Treatment For Bulged Temporal Lobe As It Hurts When Chewing?
My temporal lobe was hit a couple of days ago and it has left a bulge and also a fair ammount of swelling. It hurts when I open my mouth or chew, this pain radiated around my ear and into my eye socket which have black underneath them. Also I am sleepier than usual and have uncontrollable crying. Any ideas of what it could be as I cannot go to the doctors as im busy
I read your question and I understand your concern.
From your description it appears like the skin in the areas around your eyes and the ear has gone dark after the hit. That is a bit of a worrying sign, because it could be what is called "raccoon eyes" created by hemorrhage under the skin around the eyes due to skull fracture after a trauma. Of course I would need to see that directly to verify it, a description only could at times render the wrong impression and you don't give many details about how did you hit your head, how severe of an impact it was. For that reason I think you need a medical evaluation no matter how busy you are, because if that is indeed what I described, imaging tests are certainly needed. Hopefully it's just a bruise or puffiness around the eyes and I am making a big deal out of it, but you have to make sure especially since you mention drowsiness as well.
I hope things work out for the best.
