Suggest Me Treatment For Red Bumps On Face With Fever And Vomitting No Itching?
My 6 year old had a low grade fever for 2 days, we got a one day break and today she started complaining of stomach pain accompanied by vomit. The vomit was frequent, so we reduced her liquid intake to spoonfuls every 5-10minutes. She seems to be holding the small amounts of fluid down but I noticed tiny red bumps on her face and torso. Didn t bother to look at the rest of her body. She is not itchy nor complaining about anything else. Is this just a virus or should I be concerned about the bumps?
hello dear, welcome to healthcare magic forum. Fever, abdominal pain and frequent vomiting is usually caused by urinary tract infection, and can be well treated with antibiotics and paracetamol. But,since it is accompanied by a rash,it is better to see a doctor, since we have to rule out other causes like heoch-scholein purpura(usually accompanied by arthralgias and altered bowel habits),or viral fevers. Meanwhile, let her take adequate bed rest, light diet, plenty of oral fluids. I hope you will find this information useful.Thank you.
