Suggest Measures To Be Taken To Reduce ALT Levels

My current ALT level is 43. It should be below 40 to pass medical test for getting a job. Please suggest be what precautions/measures should i observe to lower my ALT. Also what kind of diet is useful to quickly lower the ALT level. As i have to undergo for the medical test in next week.

After going through your question, I can understand your concern.

You should not worry about this level of ALT.
It will not hamper your job selection.

It is most likely a incidental finding.

ALT is a Alanine amino transferase a Liver enzyme.

Usually elevated ALT levels considered as significant when there is at least 2 fold rise in level.

Elevated levels usually associated with altered Liver function as in jaundice, hepatitis, fatty Liver, some medicine use, alcohol use may also cause elevated level.

You should watch for symptoms like weakness, nausea, vomiting, decreased apatite, jaundice.

Take adequate carbohydrates, avoid alcohol.
