I have been trying to conceive for two years now and was recently diagnosed with pcos. My dr put me on metformin 500mg a day. I am 5'4" and 160 lbs. This is my third day on met and so far no side effects. I want to up my dose but not sure if that is a good idea.
Please continue the Metformin as prescribed by your treating physician. Make sure to follow a healthy diet, and exercise regularly as maintaining a healthy weight is an important part of managing PCOD.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
