Suggest Medication For UTI

I just went to urgent care two day ago they treated me for an urinary tract infection, i am a 55 year old male,who was previously informed of having a slightly enlarged prostrate. I was prescribed antibioctics, which have already improved the urinating,and burning. I have noticed that I now am experiencing more pain around the groin area ,and also now a pronounced swelling has occured in my testicles

Hello dear
Understand your concern.
Take following advice for UTI.

Advice for you
Drink plenty of water: minimum eight glass/day
Wipe area after urination
Do not avoid to delay bladder
Antibiotics: Ciprofloxacin/norfloxacin
Paracetamol if fever.
Tablet tramadol for pain
Wear pure cotton loose inner wear
Swelling in testis may be due to epididymitis and orchitis: must be confirmed by CBC, ESR and USG
Apply warm compression and support to scrotum

Repeat the urine test and culture after 14 days or after completion of treatment to know eradication of infection.
