Suggest Medication For Abdominal Discomfort And Bloating
I might have eaten a plate of spaghetti with tomato sauce that is not fresh, and for the past three days my stomach is bloated but i don t have diarrhea, the bloating is very uncomfortable. Any kind of medication I can purchase over the counter that might help relieve the symptom? Thank you!
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of abdominal discomfort and bloating which seems to be due to irritable bowel syndrome, intolerance to dairy products or other food items , eating too fast and could be due to overgrowth of bacteria in the small bowel.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to avoid food like dairy products. You should drink warm water and do light exercises and eat light and non spicy food. If condition doesn't get well then consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe H2 blockers, proton pump inhibitor along with antibiotics and anti inflammatory medications.
