Suggest Medication For Abdominal Pain After Taking Abortion Pills

hi docter... i am 25years old... i met my boyfriend four times in a month. then after few days.. i feel as vomiting sensation as i thought something happened .then i took prega test it shows positive.. on may 25th night i had one mifristone next day on may 26th through vaginal took misoprosal but i dint kept properly. same night i took misoprosal orally after few hours bleeding started with lots of pain.. after that 3days no pain only bleeding waz goin.. now on 30th may suffering from little abdomen pain if i walk . so am very much afraid shall i consult a docter or pain wil go normally.. is there ultrasound scan is compulsory? and when my urine result get negative.. is there any tablet to get rid of abdomen pain.. plzz suggest docter m very much in tense

Hi,
Thanks for writing to HCM.
After looking in to the events you have described, you have undergone abortion through medications.
These medications does cause abdominal pain and cramps as they induce contractions in the uterus to expel the products of conception. Hence you need to bear with it and as the doctor has told, it will subside gradually. However, if the pain is not tolerable, you can take Tablet. Ibuprofen 400mg after food.
It is advisable to undergo pelvic scan to ascertain that all the products of conception have been expelled out, as some retained products could cause complications.
