Suggest Medication For Acne Scars And Open Pores Over Cheeks

Dear sir, I have acne scars and open pores over my cheeks for which doctor recommended me a sunban ultra gel in the morning and glycovira cream at night. Its been more than 2 months but no effect is visible. Is this prescribed medication ok for my case?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have acne scars and open pores over cheeks which occurs occur when clogged pores of sebaceous gland filled with sebum ,dead skin and bacteria get infected. You are already taking so much medicine but not get benefited. Need not to worry. Drink plenty of fluids and take diet rich in multivitamins. I would suggest you to consult dermatologist once and get it examined. You an go for laser therapy, microabrasion, chemical peeling and dermabrasion only after doctors prescription. Laser therapy will take 6-7 sessions for complete healing .Doctor may prescribe antibiotics course. Till now apply aloe vera gel and apply azelaic acid containing cream twice a day.
