Suggest Medication For Bacterial Infection In Armpit
My dermatologist just diagnosed me with a bacterial infection in the armpit area. The symptoms were extreme itching and burning as well as sensitivity to touch skin contact. She prescribed a cream or ointment for treatment but I don t remember the name of the infection. I think if I see or hear the name, I ll remember it.Can you help?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of bacterial infection in armpit which could be due to increased skin susceptibility of body getting infected and it is due to allergic reaction of body. Need not to worry. You should take diet rich in multivitamins. Till then apply topical steroid e.g fluticasone propionate cream, twice daily at affected sites for 7- 10 days. Avoid intake of oily and fast food. You should not touch and prick them. Drink plenty of water. Avoid touching or pricking rashes as it will exaggerate your situation. I would suggest you to visit dermatologist once and get it examined. You should go for patch test for allergic reaction. Start treatment after proper examination and diagnosis.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
