Suggest Medication For Boils On Nose, Cheeks And Lips
I have a 17 year old son that has been suffering with boils. He has had one on his back in his nose on his cheek now he has one on his lip. We live on a property 2 hours from our closest doctors. What medication can i give him to hel him till we get to town next week.
Welcome to HCM. As per your query, best way to treat a boil is to apply a warm face cloth to the boil for 10 minutes three or four times a day. The heat increases the amount of blood circulating around the boil, which means more infection-fighting blood cells are sent there. When the boil bursts, cover it with sterile gauze or dressing to prevent the spread of infection. After this, wash your hands thoroughly using hot water and soap. However don't try to burst them by your own, as this make increase chance of infection. Maintain hygeine is best way to prevent boils.Antibiotics are rarely needed in case of boils. If boils persist u can visit near by doctor.
