The issue here is multi-factorial as there are
gut flora disturbances,
anxiety, stress and fluid electrolyte imbalances.
Primary guidelines for better recovery are that you consume plenty of liquids in the form of boiled water, lemon juice, tender coconut water, homemade juices, organic tea, coffee, butter milk et cetera.
Prefer soft, light, bland and vegan diet with fresh curd preferably. Avoid all types of oily, spicy and non veg foods, hot beverages, junk foods, dairy fat, milk and aerated drinks till recovery.
Intake of PPI (as
Omeprazole), antibiotics (with
Metronidazole on pack) and
Racecadotril as an anti-secretory agent help with fast recovery which require prescriptions with your doctor. Splash both your eyes with cold water 4 times a day.
