Suggest Medication For Bulge Between L4 And L5 Causing Nerve Pinch

Hello, My wife is 34 years. For the last 21 days she is suffering from severe pain starting from the buttock muscle going down the back of left leg all the way to toes. She has numbess in the toes as if the foot fell asleep. She has lost all movement in her left leg, meaning she can't wiggle her toes or move any part of the leg even when she is in a lying position (which is the least painful). She says she's putting all the effort, but no movement can be seen in the leg. MRI shows a bulge between L4 ad L5. The pain specialst said that bulge is causing nerve pinch. He did an epidural injection of steroid into the region of L4/L5. It's been 10 days since the epidural. He also put her on 3600mg of Gabapentin per day and advised to increase to as much as she can tolerate it. But so far the mobility has not returned to her leg. We are trying acupuncture. Any sugggestion will be very much appreciated. Thank you very much.
