Suggest Medication For Chronic Knee Pain When Diagnosed With Osteoarthritis
I am 47yrs and have developed Osteoarthritis only this year. I have very severe pain in both knees, stiffness occurs every time am not active, I hear my bones crunching when am walking. My knees hurt too much. I take acetaminophen and ibuprofen with other NSAID drugs but none helps. What should i do doc?
about pain, I would prescribe if the medical exam allow it, NSAID like naproxen (Rx, OTC) 500 twice daily, but I would strike obesity if it is present, and FIRST I would check two things: OSTEOPOROSIS THE KNEE BY ULTRASOUND
