Suggest Medication For Clogged Ear

I had a lumbar puncture a few weeks ago, and since the procedure my right ear has been clogged. I am planning to take a trip to Equador in two days, and I m concerned that the airplane pressure will further damage the ear. Is this potentially a serious problem?
