Suggest Medication For Cold, Phlegm Filled Cough And Wheezing
My husband have started with cold and later he started with cough and flum from 4 days. He have sound while breathing.Please suggest a medicine. we recently moved to dallas texas. I have got a syrup(terbutaline sulphate+ambroxyl hydrochloride+guaiphenesin syrup) from India and we are using from past 2days. also other handy medicines we have are ofloxacin, ciprofloxacin, cefixime tablets. please suggest .

sound in breathing is a matter of concern, here I would like to know whether he is asthmatic or not?
Terbutaline and combination syrup is good for cough, continue it for a while, Ask him to do gargling with warm saline water and steam inhalation apart from taking syrup.
You can give him decongestant like levocetirizine or fexofenadine group of drugs or xylometazoline nasal drops.
In case of fever, sore throat and severe cough you can give him cefexime antibiotic 200 mg twice daily for 5 days.
As a home remedy you can give him honey with few drops of ginger juice.
