Suggest Medication For Comedonal Acne Beneath The Skin
Hello, I have conedonal acne, its underneath the skin, so i m not sure its its closed or open. Anyways, I am on Clearasils salicylic acid treatment line, its been 3 weeks. No progress, if not getting worse. What lines do you recommend in full detail? P.s- have you heard of Paulas choice lines? if so, would that be a recommendation? (with specific products)
Whiteheads/blackheads (Comedones) are basically a type of acne. Any cosmetics or medication can block the pores and cause acne.
I would suggest daily use a retinoid like tretinoin in lower percentage like 0.25 at night time over full face to prevent new eruption of acne and for healthy glowing skin. Use a gentle cleanser for oily skin like cetaphil OS on regular basis. Drink plenty of water and take fresh fruits and vegetable in your diet. Hope this will take care of your issue. Wish you best of health. Thank you Dr Hardik Pitroda M.D Dermatology
