Suggest Medication For Compulsive Disorder Causing Anxiety If Things Cant Be Controlled

Hi, my name is Mike. I m having what I think is contrling problems. I think I have some sort of compulsive disorder. I have six kids and run a crew at work5 days a week, and when things don t go or get done the way I think they should I just build up so much anxiety that I don t know how to control my actions. I get really upset when things are not done a certain way, and I m always trying to show them the best way to do these things. So my question. Is there a medication that could keep me cool and help me cope with issues to where I don t build up so much anxiety when the kids are doing something that they know they are not supposed to be doing

Hi! You might be suffering from OCD, also called as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. This is an anxiety problem. You feel anxious for reasons not known. To relieve your anxiety , you tend to create thought patterns that are repititive in your mind. This is O in OCD. To relieve your anxiety you have a need to arrange things your way. The best solution is try CBT called as cognitive behavioural therapy. You need a few sessions of counselling. ERP also called as Exposure Response Prevention. You might want to try some medicines like clomipramine, fluoxetine and paroxetine (the best). You might need to take the medicines for between 3 to 4 weeks daily and then, when the desired result is obtained and you feel much better, you can stop taking the medicines.
