General & Family Physician, Dr. Priyanka's Response
Hi,
If you have been experiencing a low-grade fever for several days, speak with a healthcare provider to determine the reason for your symptoms and get appropriate treatment. Antibiotics such as Monocef 200 are typically prescribed for bacterial infections and may not be effective for viral infections or other underlying conditions that may be causing your fever.
In addition to medication, it is also important to stay hydrated, rest, and practice good hygiene to help manage your symptoms and prevent the spread of infection. If your fever persists or if you experience any new or worsening symptoms, it is recommended that you seek medical attention promptly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
