General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi. I suggest that your son be taken to a physician for a checkup, where an antibiotic assay will be done and the right antibiotic will help solve the problem. According to me, he needs Augmentin for 5 days, 2 tablets 12 hourly. His cramps are because of the loss of electrolytes in loose motions. The cough and wheeze is due to pneumonia. Thanks and regards. Dr Neel Kudchadkar
