Suggest Medication For Dandruff Problem
Hi, I have dandruff prone scalp and I have to shampoo my hair every alternate day with Head and Shoulders to keep dandruff from coming back. If don t shanpoo my hair at a stretch of 3-4 days itching starts and also small acne starts to come up. I have used ketakonzole shampoo and cipla 8x they made my hair dull and hair started to fall out. Please prescibe something

For treatment non-responding dandruff, I advise you to:
- Use cetavlon concentrate - 4 tsp to a glass of water should be used as shampoo twice a week or selsun / nizral shampoo on scalp twice a week for 4 consecutive weeks
- Candid cream application on scalp for 10 days, then alternate days for 10 days, twice a week for a month
- Avoid using oil on scalp
