Suggest Medication For Diarrhea

Hi evrybody,
I had my Gall baladder removed about a year ago and ever since I have had cronic diarrhea. I don't feel unwell on the contrary I feel quite well. I've noticed that if I take two 'Tramadol' tablets it eases the diarrhea for about 24 hours then it returns. Any suggestions?

Hello,

Chronic diarrhea will ultimately cause you problems like you will be dehydrated, vitamin mineral deficiency and malabsorption. So it needs proper evaluation. Stool RE, stool for leukocyte, stool for ova and cyst and culture anti-tTG antibodies. Your detail history will be needed whether this diarrhea relieved with fasting or not, avoidance of dairy products and gluten containing diet has any effect or not. Are you losing weight? Are you pale?
