Suggest Medication For Dull Throbbing Pain In Tooth
Hi, I have an acute pain in my tooth. I had gone through dental proceudre and it was okay. I am far from home and before coming here I had my teeth checked. The pain is in the tooth.. Throbbing sensation and I took combiflam for the same. The dull ache still persists. Please let me know what to do
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that you have deep infection in tooth that has involved the nerves and inflammation and irritation of nerves can lead to severe pain and as the infection is actively present you are not getting complete relief and till the source of infection is present and tooth is not treated the pain is likely to persist as well as can recur if once subsided..
You should consult a dentist and get evaluated and get an IOPAR (x Ray) done to rule out the exact status of the tooth and get treated by either Root Canal Treatment if the tooth can be saved or Extraction if tooth is deeply decayed and saving is not possible..
As for now you can take Ultram (Tramadol) 50mg three times a day for relief...
Hope this information helps..
