Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was dx w/Rheumatoid Arthritis 5 years ago. I have been seeing a Pain Specialist for 2 years. He gives me injections of Kenalog (steroid) 1x month plus has me on Vicodin 3/day and Tramadol 2 pills 3 times a day. I take Methotrexate 7 tablets 1x week and Humira injections x1 week. I still am not getting pain releif. What else can I do?
If you are still not getting pain relief then you could visit a rheumatologist and they could probably change your medications. As at present there are various alternatives to humira injections and I am sure something will work out.
