Suggest Medication For Enlarged Liver And Elevated Sugar Levels
Hi I am a patient of pancreatitis (alcobolic), my recent reports o SGOT and SGPT are normal, but my liver is enlarged. For the past one month my sugar level are cluctuating between 200 to 497, my todays fasting is 279. Kindly suggest fhe medication as well my diet. I am of 37 years and weighed 55. hello welcome to HCM, your liver is enlarged probably due to pancreatitis.oedematous pancreas causes mild outflow obstruction. but i need your ALP value to prove this. for now, Stop alcohol strictly Dont smoke. take some pancreatic enzyme complex,PPI,LIVER TONIC,TAB UDILIV daily.
NOW for your fluctuating level of high blood sugar at present you should start with insulin later when it is normalised switch over to oral hypoglycaemics. consult an endocrinologist for proper dosage of basal and pp insulin. and also to check the other systems and retinoscopy. hope this is helpful. regards.
