Suggest Medication For Fever And Sudden Weight Loss
fever started with 99 went up till105 was hospitalised for 10 days with last 3 days on aztreonam iv the fever dropped to 100 and below for past 8 days on oral secef 400mg twice a day but still getting fever in the evening [99.2to 99.8] all tests conducted for typhoid and tb negative. a sudden weight loss from 77 to 74.6
Hai, History of fever for 10 days and relapsed fever with evening raise of temperature and weight loss is an indication for tuberculosis.
Possibility of cross infection occurred.
clinical symptoms correlated with investigation (relevant) Chest X ray,microbiological culture will rule out the tuberculosis. but associated symptoms should be correlated.
