Suggest Medication For Fever And White Stripes On Throat Of An Infant
Hello sir/madam.my daughter is 6 months old.she is having fever and having white streps in her throat.i gave her fevago for fever and novamox 125 for throat.but still she is crying a lot and she is having too much difficulty in swallowing liquids.wht should i do in this.is any other or best medic there for my baby.
Understanding your concern. As per your query your baby has sore throat and white strips on throat . The symptoms you mention in query are probably due to a condition known as oral thrush . There can be many reasons for oral thrush in babies but in your case it seems to me that low immunity and use of antibiotics caused oral thrush . Oral thrush is a fungal infection . This will go away few days after your antibiotics course get completed . For now maintain proper oral hygiene and consult pediatrician for proper examination and rule out conditions like pharyngitis and herpes . Doctor may prescribe antifungal treatment, usually miconazole gel or nystatin suspension .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
