Hello and welcome to HCM, The symptoms of running nose, headache, chills, aches and diarrhea are indicative of infection. There is chance that the infection can transmit to your baby. The symptoms are of upper respiratory infection and gastrointestinal tract infection. They can easily transmit to your baby thus, it is necessary to keep your baby away till your infection clears away. Infants are more prone to catch infections since their immune system is not well developed. I suggest you to consult your primary healthcare provider for management. In the meanwhile till your infection clears, you can feed your baby will pooled breast milk.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
