hello im an 18 year old girl and i have had a problem for about two week now, im urinating more frequently, and have a constant pain in the right side of my back (just above the hip bone). this pain becomes worse when urinating, but is always there. can you help?
I suggest doing a urine test to confirm the diagnosis.
Meanwhile, I suggest using anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen to relieve the symptoms.
If the diagnosis is confirmed, I suggest using a cycle of antibiotics such as Ciprofloxacin.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
