Suggest Medication For Gas During Gastritis
Hi, My 13 month old son had a fall. His CT Scan is OK but has been suffering from Stress induced Gastritis eversince (10 days) He has been prescribed Lanzole Junior and Gelusil. Though the frequency of vomits have reduced but he seems to suffer from acute gas. Is he being over medicated? should I drop Gelusil and continue with only Lanzole? Pl Advise.

I really appreciate your concern, I had gone through the history given here, it could be the symptoms of vomiting but the cause of this is doubtful it may not be the gastritis and it is due to stress is not likely but it seems to be the vomiting due to fall only, head injury needs to be ruled out, giving PPI in this is not advisable I would advise to discuss this with pediatrician hope this information helps.
