Age:22 years height:5'4 Weight:50kgs I am suffering from gastric problem from past 3 months on wards.I have consulted doctors and during the blood test for bilirubin i found the values are big high.The values for Total Bilirubin was 2.1 mg/dl and direct bilirubin was 0.8mg/dl.But there are no symptoms(pale urine,yellowish eyes,vomiting,fever) are found at all.Can you please let me know the reasons for high values of bilirubin?will it be harmful?shall i need to maintain any diet?
increased rbc lysis can cause raised bilirubin level. you should start diet high on iron like apple, beetroot, jaggery. or take iron supplements in form of tablets. do get a regular follow up on your hemoglobin levels and things should get just fine.
