Suggest Medication For Groin Rash While Earlier Medication Like Desonide Creme Has Not Cleared Symptoms.
I ve had a groin rash for years that appears to be yeast infection. It s prevalent in the fold of my body where my legs meet my testicular sac. I am a 56 year old male but have had the problem for 20 years. Doctors have given me Diflucan pills, Nizoral creme and Desonide creme but nothing clears up the symptoms. The area is very red, burns and itches and is very painful. Without daily treatments of Desonide creme, the affected area becomes cracked and actually bleeds. There s also an odor, although not as strong as many years ago. One dermatologist recommended pouring bleach into bathwater and soaking in it. It was painful and did not help. Help!
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
The symptoms seem to be related to a yeast infection. I see through the query that you have already taken the proper treatment. I suggest to continue the treatment. I also suggest to maintain a good hygiene and use cotton underwear.
