Suggest Medication For Headache And High Blood Pressure

Hi Doctor Iam recently cheking my Bp result very Hi (180/110) and Iam immediate conduct doctor doctor prescribe some medicine tab dilnip-10mg and one tab -50mg Idon t no name but this time 150/101 please suggest any more take medicine,this time full time headache please help me

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have headache and high blood pressure. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like thickening of arteries , sleep apnea , kidney problems , illegal drugs, such as cocaine and amphetamines and headache id due to high blood pressure , migraine or due to some medicines like blood pressure medicines . I would suggest you to consult cardiologist for proper examination . Doctor may order certain test like ECG , complete blood profile along with CT scan of the head . Doctor may prescribe betablockers , calcium channel blockers or diuretics . Doctor may also refer you to neurologist for problem like migraine . For now lower your salt consumption , take light walk for 15 minutes daily and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain .
