Suggest Medication For Headache, Fever And Sweating

Male, 55 years old, smoker, 1 week ago developed a severe headache with dizziness, entire body ached so much could hardly move, scalp sore to touch, jaw, ears and bones under eyes aching fever, alternate from severe sweats to freezing cold. Now the dizziness has disappeared and body not as sore but the rest of the signs remain. Have not eaten anything just drinking 7-up and green tea. Taking Tylenol cold and flue medication and haven t moved off the couch for close to a week. Any ideas?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have headache, fever and sweating since 1 week which could be due to viral/ bacterial infection of body. It seems you have impaired immunity of your body. I would suggest you nothing to worry about it. You have to boost your immunity by taking multivitamins and diet rich in vitamin A. You should take plenty of fluids. Avoid taking any sharp and oily food substances .You should take NSAID medication along with antibiotic such as Levofloxacin. You should take soft and bland food. You should take fresh juices in diet. Try to divide your meals in small fractions rather than having bulk at a time. Visit general physician once and get it examined. Go for blood tests as well. Start treatment after proper diagnosis.
