Suggest Medication For Heartburn And Panic Attack. I Had Gastric Bypass Surgery.
I was recently started on clopidogrel and taken off aspirin but I also was taking omeprazole and now am suppose to switch to Prevacid. But I had gastric bypass 10 months ago but what I read says that I should take neither gerd medicine because they can affect the clopidogrel. Butt now I seem to have heartburn and had a panic attack. I also had bilateral pe s after sx and later on in January. I Had a Tia. Any thoughts for me. I seem not to feel like these meds are working together as they should. I was on Coumadin therapy for 6 mths after the pe s. And then after te Tia Asa 81 then Asa 325 then switched to the clopidogrel. I had no residual from the Tia but I always seem anxious now
With your history it seems like you are suffering from anxiety with some eating disorder, morbid obesity and you underwent for gastric bypass for that and you had that TIA because of the dyslipidemia. Pantoprazole for your dyspepsia and Amitryptaline fat bed time might help you.
