Hi
Thanks for choosing HCM for your query
Incomplete data: Age, gender, duration of the problem and presence of other diseases, etc.
I have gone through your problem regarding the safety of routinely used drugs in the treatment of
hypertension.
As a matter of fact, no single drug is free from its side effect.
We have to analyse the risk versus benefit while choosing a particular drug.
Since you are not being able to tolerate the side effects of
Lisinopril and
Losartan unfortunately these are the most commonly prescribed medications for the control of BP.
You have to visit your doctor ( may be another one) for possible use of alternate medication like Calcium channel blockers like
Amlodipine or
Beta blocker like Bisiprolol to suit your needs.
These medications are also not free from side effects.,
So, discuss with your doctor and let him choose the most efficacious medicine for you.
I hope your doubts have been clarified.
A feed back is appreciated if you are convinced.
Regards
