Suggest Medication For High Dose Of Standard Release Adderall

Hi Doctor, I ve been being switch back-and-forth from extended release Dexedrine to Focalin to extended release Adderall to Ritalin and I really just need to be on the high dose of standard release Adderall. How can I get a prescription without having to keep paying the doctors to keep making mistakes ?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The switching of medication isn't based on mistakes but it's a regular process in medicine that on every follow up visit, doctor may think to increase or decrease the dose or switch to entirely different drug based on patients response.

In your case, in my humble opinion it's always better to keep follow up with one competent doctor preferably subject specialist so that he can monitor the response and can know what decision needs to be made on follow up visit accordingly.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
