General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello!
I had gone through your query and understand your concern.
In the way you describe it seems to be a viral infection.
Since she is only 4 years old a temperature of 39.9 is considered very high and if this fever doesn't go down soon I suggest to consult a pediatrician as soon as possible to find the right cause of this.

Meanwhile she need to rest,to eat healthy mostly green vegetables.
Keep under control her temperature by using Ibuprofen or Paracetamol every 4-6 h if needed.
Be careful to avoid dehydration by giving her plenty of fluids.

Hope it helped.
Wish a quick and complete recovery to your daughter.
