Suggest Medication For High Triglycerides And VLDL
I went for my regular health check and when I got the report, I found that everything like my blood sugar, cholesterol levels etc were absolutely fine but the triglycerides levels were more than alarming. 382 is what the report mentioned and VLDL is 76. What medicines are prescribed for these conditions? Also , please mention the precautions that I should take.
First If you don't have any other problems such as hypertensiondiabetes or any cardiac illness there is no need to worry . For initial 6 months you can manage this by certain life style modifications such as brisk walk for 30 minutes and dietary restrictions of saturated fat .maintain your BMI less than 25.get your lipid profile check after 6 months and if still it is raised then consider for lipid lowering agents. There are many medicines for that but you need to discuss this with your physician and start treatment with his advice and under his supervision . .
