HI I HAV AN INFECTION IN THE ANUL AREA. I WAS PRESCRIBEB AN OINTMENT BUT THROUGH THE NIGHT I HAVE THIS OVER WHELMING URGE TO SCRATCH THE AREA AS IT GITS SO ITCHY. I FEEL THE OINTMENT IS ACTUALLY FEEDING IT. I HAV PAIN AT PRESENT AS IV PUT A MEDICATED OINTMENT ON IT TO STOP THE ITCH. I HAV BABY WIPES THAT I USE AFTER GOING TO THE TOILET PLUS WHEN I SHOWER I WASH THAT AREA WITH THE SHOWER HEAD SPRAY. IM EMBARRASSED BY THIS COMPLAINT AND WISH TO REMEDY IT MYSELF. WHAT SHOULD I DO. DESPERATE FOR CURE. I AM A FEMALE 58 YEARS OF AGE.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, if this is the infection then it needs to be treated with antibiotic but more important is to know the nature of infection some time it could be surgical condition, at the most it can be managed on tentative basis with "Tab Cefdinir 300 mg" twice in day, and "Tab Fexofenadine 120 mg" once in day (Clinical examination is must prior to initiate treatment) hope this information helps, take care have a nice day.
