Suggest Medication For Laryngitis
I had laryngitis for almost 2 wks. & now I am hoarse for 8 days. I have seen a Dr. & NP. I originally started with a cough, sore throat then earache. The 4 steroid pills given & cough pills didn t seem to work bc I still have the cough. I saw a CVS NP day after New Years bc I had gotten worse. She gave me antibiotic, flonase & gargle which got rid of my fluid behind the ears & sore throat. This past Fri. I saw a NP & she gave me a steroid shot. I have not improved except maybe feeling a little bit better but not much improvement as for as the hoarseness & now a slight cough. Could this be more serious? Linda

Take following traetment
1. Voice rest
2. Steam inhalations with tincture of benzoin
3. Tablet septran for 3 days twice daily
4. Drinking sufficient lukewarm fluids
5. Tablet diaminic DCA three times a day for three days
