Hello,

The most possible reason is fissure giving pain and blood while passing stool. Primary guidelines for better recovery:

- Consume high fiber diet with plenty of liquids.
- Judicious use of bulk forming laxative as psyllium husk or ispaghula to keep stool consistency soft.
- Sitz bath (sitting in a tub filled with lukewarm water 5 minutes each 2 times a day).
- Regular intake of analgesic as tylenol or other as per choice of consultant.
- Local application of xylocaine jelly will ease the pain better.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
