Suggest Medication For Pain Due To PCOS During Pregnancy

Hi Doctor, one of my friend aged 23 got her pregnancy confirmation and it has been 5 weeks done. Now she is with sever pain and wen consulted with local doctor they just explained the pain is cos of polycist ovaries. But she is still in massive stomach pain. Please let me know what to take further and reveal her form pain. Thanks, Maha

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion the pain might be due to PCOD or muscular pain.Take panadol for pain.Avoid physical stress and intercourse.Pain killers are not advisable to take during pregnancy.Take rest.I suggest you to get an ultrasound done to know the pregnancy status.If ultrasound is normal and no spotting then you need not worry.
