Suggest Medication For Pain Due To Pinguecula
My sister had LASIK 20 days before .post operative recovery was normal but 10 days before she has developed irritation,redness and pain in her eyes .she went to surgeon and he said LASIK is normal ,vision is normal .all these complaints r due to pingicula.and he said it will take 15 days to recover .and he didn't prescribe any medication only pain killer eye drops he gave .what we shld do.

It seems from the history that your sister has undergone LASIK surgery and following it she is having redness and irritation of eyes probably secondary to inflammation of pre existing pinguecula.
The treatment of pinguecula is by use of oral antiinflammatory drugs and topical antiinflammatory eye drops.
Hence your doctor is correct in prescribing pain killers.
You can continue them as over his advice.
