Suggest Medication For Persistent Cold And Headache

Hii i am 24 year old and i have cold which sustains every day i take levocetrizine tablet almost daily from almost a year i have consulted a few doctors every one says it is due to allergy and gives me anti allergy tablet or nasal sprays now headache also comes along with cold......please suggest what medication should i go through or what exactly is the problem???

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have persistent cold and headache . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like sinusitis or allergic rhinitis . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan , MRI or blood test . Doctor may also order allergy test . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics ( amoxicillin or penicillin ) at least for 10 days along with decongestant , expectorant and anti allergic . Doctor may loof for causing factor of allergy and remove it . For now take steam thrice a day , apply warm compresses to face and do warm saline gargles .
