Suggest Medication For Persistent Cold With Yellowish Thick Mucus In An Infant
My Baby has cold from few days given Allegra3-4times last week & now maxtra twice since Saturday .mucus has turned yellowish & thick . What is the difference in Allegra & monticope. She doesn t have cough & was given piriton earlier now that she has stuffed nose do I give her piriton too & can I give another medicine like monticope instead of Allegra ?
Hi, Thanks for your question. I do understand your pain and discomfort. As per your history is concerned please follow my advise below-: 1)Give her [ AB-CEF dispertab-100 mg twice a day for 7 days] to control infections2)No need of any anti allergic now as she has taken already,if required give only [maxtra] It is due to secondary bacterial infection so complete full course of antibiotics.
