General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Usually, viral fever will last 5 days or even 1 week with intermittent high and low degrees. The same is happening to you. You should keep well hydrated. If you are also experiencing cough, or throat pain, or ear pain, should see your doctor immediately to rule out bacterial complications. It's important to keep well hydrated (drink more water with oral re-hydration salts, fresh squeezed fruit juice, tea, etc.)

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
