Suggest Medication For Prolonged And Abnormal Menstruation

Hi my period always came on same date but on July 13 it started instead of 18 and it continue with heavy flow till 25 July , after nine days it started on 4 August on 9 Aug my doctor gave me meprate but its not worked the she said start double dose for 21 days and after 20 day on 29 Aug it started again on sixth day of period my doctor said to start meprate again for 21 days after started meprate next day suddenly heavy flow stared and same day it stopped. I m totallyconfused what happen with me, my scanning report is normal and how many months I have to take meprate , is meprate is right medicine for my case?

Hi,

It seems you are suffering from Hormonal imbalance leading to your complaints(functional uterine haemorrhage).

Cyclical treatment of Meprate for minimum 3 consequtive months can regulate such bleeding.

Spme patients do need Procedure called dialatation & curettage (for both treatment & diagnostic purposes) in case Cyclical treatment fails.
