Suggest Medication For Psoriasis And Swelling In Finger Joint
hi i have psoriasis(in the form of red rashes on legs and dandruff on the scalp) and recently found to have cholestrol in the border lines. few months back i noticed a swelling on my left hand middle finger joint. doctor diagnosed it to be because of uric acid. my uric acid level is 7.2 now. the swelling is present on other joints in my fingers now and doctor said it is a form of psoriatic arthritis. kindly suggest me a proper diet and medication to keep all these conditions under control. my age is 28. height 5 feet 9 inches and weight is 82kg

There are several treatment options available for psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis and all will be customized according to the severity, type and your current kidney functioning. Simple NSAIDs like Ibuprofen to more selective COX 2 inhibitors like Celecoxib Steroids immunemodulators,/ Retinoids. May also be given laser therapy, photochemotherapy (PUVA)are another options. It is always good recommendation that you see a dermatologist and get supervised medical treatment and follow up. Coming to diet, it is always good to take nutritious food rich in fruits and vegetables. Cut down high protein meat Seafood and alcohol.
