Suggest Medication For Severe Ankle Pain Due To An Injury

Hi, I broke my ankle 9 years ago on the growth plate and 3 screws were put in. Last year, 2 of the screws were taken out because they had moved causing severe pain. The doctor that did my surgery said he didn't take the third one out because it was difficult to get to and might have caused joint damage trying to get it. I went to another orthopedic doctor a couple of months ago because I am still having severe pain. An MRI was done (as well as x-rays) and the doctor said nothing was wrong. He recommended me to physical therapy for 6 weeks 2x a week and I went. I am still in the same amount of pain which is a sharp pain i would rate a 6 when I am not bearing weight on it. Sometimes when I'm walking (not even doing anything strenuous) the pain gets so severe that i have to stop walking and wait because the ankle feels like it will give out. I have not been able to run due to the pain and the bike is about the only thing I can do. I'm only 24 and I want to know what is wrong with my ankle so I can get back to the active lifestyle I love.
